Morality Evolution

Charles Darwin The old boy has got it right after all. Today, the first day of the blog. I have observed 2 interesting phenomena. First happened while I was at work engineering like I should be. I stumbled on this word contiguous while looking through the PCI local bus specifications. Checked that on www.m-w.com and it was the 'Word Of The Day' for that day! Now what are the chances of that happening? 615000 to 1. Strange, not scientific at all. I got no problems with that, I don't worship science. Science is not total knowledge, it is observed rules that we've created. All this in front of Charles...

The second thing is the one that really bothered me, evolution. More specifically the root theory in evolution - 'Survival of the fittest'. Fitness used to mean physical speed, or strength. Lately, the rules of the game became more mental. Smarts. You gots, you live. So that's what I do, been getting me some smarts.

Then, paradigm shifts. I saw it, the superior beings. What did they have that we don't? What don't they have that we do? Morality. Those things were useful many years ago when the world is so much more chaotic. In this other place, morality is an anchor. I watched how without it, someone less able mentally managed to succeed. That person managed to even laugh at us, and there was nothing we can do about it. That was absolute authority. I was disgusted. Left behind the evolutionary wave. There is no glory in this defeat.

Is Anybody Alive In Here?

A voice in the darkness of netspace.

Was it really spoken? Is it a thought?

I guess within the cells of this lonely blog, I can scream silently my deepest thoughts just to hear its echoes. Unafraid of losing an absent audience, saved from the embarrassment of failure. And so slowly a miracle happens, from the etheral mind, words; from words, form; from form ideas. Creation.
